Our last stop in Norway was Allesund. We flew into Ørsta-Volda Airport on a tiny little plane. It looked like a toy plane but it was so much fun! Hey! I just got back from a trip to the beautiful Palma De Mallorca. We took a day trip to Cala Mesquida on one of the days which is the place my grandparents met 53 years ago, so it was a very special day! Hey! I just got back from Palma De Mallorca with my family. It was such a lovely and relaxing trip. The island is really beautiful! We stayed in Palma in a lovely hotel, and we visited Soller and Cala Mesquida. (See my next post about Cala Mesquida and how it is such a special place to our family). We took the train from Oslo Central Station up to Tryvann ski resort/Winter park and we walked around for a few hours. We found a really beautiful lake surrounded by lots of trees; the perfect place to take lots of pictures! Hello! Here are some pictures from our time spent in Oslo. Places you should visit if you are planning to go to Oslo: Oslo Opera House, Damstredet & Telthusbakken (the roads with pretty colourful houses), Tryvann (see other blog post), Hausmania wall (legal grafiti), and Oslo Harbour. We stayed in a lovely Air BnB owned by Nadine which was only a short ride into the city. I thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Oslo to stay here! We loved it. Sophie :)

We stopped in Bergen for a few days and explored the city centre. There isn't a whole lot of things to do in Bergen, but it is a really pretty place. The main thing you should do if you visit, is travel up to Mt Fløyenon on the Fløibanen funicular. You get great views of the whole city from the top. The main reason we visited Stavanger was so that we could hike Pulpit Rock - I have a couple of blog posts with all the pictures we took whilst doing the hike. But whilst in Stavanger we explored the city a bit and it is really pretty! We especially liked Øvre Holmegate, the well known colourful street. I had NO idea what I was getting myself in for when I decided we were going to climb Pulpit Rock. In all fairness this was my first ever hike, but it was certainly 10 times harder than anything I imagined. It felt like I was walking on a treadmill at 9% incline for 2 hours straight! Anyone who hikes I think is amazing because it really was the hardest physical thing that I have ever done. But I made it to the top! And the views on the way weren't too bad either ;). Check out

So after what felt like the longest hour and a half/2 hours... We finally made it to the top of Pulpit Rock! The view was absolutely incredible!! We were so lucky with the weather and the mostly clear blue sky. Definitely worth the hike! Sophie :)
