Hey!
I am slowly getting round to sorting through my hundreds of photos from my trip last month to USA and Canada. I had such a fun time exploring new places. I planned the trip really thoroughly and added lots of places that were on my bucket list, and I am so happy I got to tick so many off.
So we started off our trip in San Francisco. I flew in to meet Sam who was just finishing up a trip with his family, they went to Vegas and then spent time in San Fran. I was invited to go with them all but I actually had a family trip to Palma De Mallorca with my family that I did not want to miss. And I have been to Vegas and San Fran a couple times before so wanted to spend the time with my family instead. So I flew into San Fran (Sam met me at the airport with a homemade sign which was really cute haha) and we spent the night at Union Square in a really cute hotel. The next morning we went to San Fran airport to pick up our hire car, and we started driving to Big Sur and Carmel-by-the-sea. On the way we stopped at Saratoga which was a really cute town.
I had highlighted places on a map of where I wanted us to stop at in Big Sur and we ticked almost all of them off which I am so pleased about. The drive is absolutely beautiful and was exactly like I expected it to be! My favourite stops were Lovers Point Park, Point Lobos State Reserve and Bixby Creek Bridge.
